The Simple Truth About Zrii LLC
Zrii, LLC was founded in 2008 by Bill Farley. Bill Farley
was the CEO of Fruit of the Loom, Inc. for 15 years prior to its sale to
Berkshire Hathaway Co. in 1999. Mr. Farley experienced a great deal of success
as the Head of Fruit of the Loom and grew the company nearly 10 fold in his 15
year tenure.
As the story goes, while Mr. Farley was speaking with the
renowned Dr. Deepak Chopra, he asked what fruit he would recommend and Dr.
Chopra’s answer was amalaki. Following that meeting, Mr. Farley sought to
produce a product based on that fruit and began to develop such a product. When
the product was introduced with the launch of Zrii, it did so with the
endorsement of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing.
The company offers 2 products, both of which include amalaki
as an ingredient.
Zrii, The Original Amalaki – This product is a beverage and
is shipped in liquid form in recyclable plastic bottles. The product contains
what the company refers to as the 7 botanicals, so in addition to amalaki, the
product contains ginger, tumeric, tulsi (also known as holy basil), schizandra,
jujube, and haritaki. I am always a little hesitant to believe many health
claims of a product, but I do believe that our bodies need good nutrition and
most of us certainly do not eat enough fruit (no, fruit snacks do not count).
NutriiVeda is a weight loss product in the form of a meal
replacement shake. It contains many vitamins and minerals including the 7
botanicals. I am also reluctant to tout the virtues of one meal replacement diet
loss drink to another because, if you stick to the program, most of them will
work.
Zrii is a binary compensation plan meaning that you have 2
legs and everyone that comes in is placed in one of those legs either on your
right or on your left. Binary plans are great for paying out huge sums of money
to the big builders, but it is often difficult to break through the lower
levels because you need to have builders on both legs of your business to
really make it work.
The compensation plan for Zrii is referred to as the
Prosperity Plan and features 7 ways to get paid not including retailing the
product (very few people do that anyway):
- Fast Start Training Bonus – bonus for sponsoring new
Independent Executives
- Fast Start Bonus Pool – get a share of 2% - 5% of company
volume
- Team Commissions – paid 10% of your lesser leg
- Matching Bonus – match of personally sponsored people’s
bonuses
- Leadership Pool – reach top level and get a share of 1% of
company volume
- Achievement Bonus – one time bonuses for rank advancement
- Premium Executive Rewards – BMW Reimbursement Program,
Founder’s Bonus
Zrii costs anywhere from $50 plus product to join up to
$1,500 for products and tools to get your business started. This is not an
unreasonably expensive program to start and the minimum monthly auto ship will
cost $120-$135 plus shipping. I like to look at a break even point from a
monthly commission only (counting no bonuses) because it can be sustained
indefinitely. With this approach you are looking at having 12 people on your
lesser leg ordering 1 case per month on auto ship. If you like math – 12 people
ordering 120 points per month on you lesser leg = 1440 points, 10% commission
is $144 which should cover your cost of product and shipping.
If you like getting involved with new companies, Zrii has
yet to crack the $100 million in annual sales mark, but will probably hit that
in their second full year which ends in May of 2010. Bill Farley, from his
experience with Fruit of the Loom knows how to build a business and move into
the international marketplace, so I think there can be a lot of upside
potential with Zrii.
