XIMO, Is Ephedra
Really Back to Stay?
XIMO (pronounced zee-moe) was founded in 2008 by Todd Crowley and Bryan Baranowski. Mr. Crowley has an extensive background on the legal side of the supplement business, practicing corporate law and FDA & FTC regulatory law as Senior Corporate Counsel for Weider Nutrition Group, Inc. a $2.5 billion publicly traded dietary supplement company and has since counseled many other companies in that area. Mr. Baranowski, however, has his experience on the other side of the health and nutrition industry from producing exercise equipment to co-founding two performance nutrition companies.
XIMO has two products featuring Ephedra blend, one is a
liquid and the other is in capsule form. Both are basically the same product
and the capsules are mainly for convenience. With our fast paced lives and poor
nutrition, and skyrocketing sales of energy drinks, there is a great need for a
product like this in the market, so the timing for XIMO is absolutely terrific.
Ever since the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned the
sale of ephedrine alkaloids in dietary supplements in 2004, people have been
searching for something that works as well and literally thousands of products
have filled the shelves of stores across the country. The main problem with
ephedrine alkaloids was that they fired all the neurological and cardiovascular
receptors in your body. By neurological I am referring to brain function, and
by cardiovascular, I am referring to the heart rate and blood pressure.
XIMO contains Real Ephedra without any of the banned
alkaloids and is effective because of the use of Octopamine, a SELECTIVE
agonist that doesn't affect the cardiovascular functions and may mobilize the
release of fat by the fat cells.
The company sells the liquid in 16 ounce bottles and has a 2
ounce serving size, which gives 8 servings per bottle. In addition, the company
keeps the price low with distributors getting a wholesale price of $60 for 15
bottles. This $60 price point is also the only requirement a distributor has as
far as a monthly purchase at all levels of the compensation plan. This is a big
plus because the cost of the monthly required purchase is low and it gives the
distributor enough product to use for themselves and to share with prospects.
Additionally when comapred with its competitors XIMO is pri
In addition to Ephedra, the company ads several other
ingredients to the product:
- Quercetin
– anti-oxidant, anti-inflamitory, aids vasodilation
- Yohimbine
– elevates mood, reduce anxiety and depression, aids fat burning
- Niacin
– B-vitamin, nervous system function and support
- Trimethylglycin
(TMG) – protects against dehydration and stress, enhances fat metabolism,
reduces homocysteine (a known risk factor for heart disease)
- Caffeine
– acts as a catalyst for other components
The compensation plan is a simple and straight forward
unilevel that pays 8 levels deep with a bonus that will pay up to 2% through
infinity. The company pays a higher percentage in the earliest levels to help
new distributors get to profitability fast and pays the highest payout on the
second level (15%) to encourage distributors to help the people they sponsor.
The company charges no fee to become a distributor and also
gives its distributors a free company replicated website where they can sign up
new distributors online. Many companies are doing this to be able to
compete in the new Network Marketing community and XIMO has done a great job
with their website and making the program simple. Click here to check it out.
